Mikael Aamisepp most recently held the position of Director at High Coast Invest, responsible for investment promotion efforts in Västernorrland County. As the head of High Coast Invest, he has overseen the establishment and management of the organization in Västernorrland for more than ten years, during which significant establishments in areas such as battery technology, hydrogen, and tourism have come to the region.

The region’s potential is enormous, and I look forward to contributing to attracting more investments and strengthening our position both nationally and internationally. Invest in Norrbotten has an important mission, and I am ready to roll up my sleeves to work with the team and support the region’s development moving forward,” says Mikael Aamisepp.
Aamisepp, who also has a background as a business owner and entrepreneur, will assume the role of CEO for Invest in Norrbotten no later than February 1, 2025. He will be relocating from Härnösand to Luleå.

Lena Segerlund will have her last day on November 10 after seven years at Invest in Norrbotten. The board and colleagues extend a warm thank you to Lena Segerlund for her work.
