The event showcased the region’s advancements in green hydrogen and its role as a key player in Europe’s green transition. The “North Sweden Pavilion” highlighted Northern Sweden as a hub for innovation and investment in hydrogen production.

Discussions during the week emphasized the region’s importance in the EU’s green transition and explored new legislation affecting hydrogen infrastructure. With renewable energy, industrial expertise, and sustainable practices, Northern Sweden is positioned as a vital partner for Europe’s energy goals.

Companies like SSAB, LKAB, and Vattenfall, along with local governments, presented their hydrogen initiatives, attracting interest from European stakeholders seeking partnerships.

Building on this momentum, Northern Sweden will strengthen collaborations with EU and global partners, advancing its hydrogen ecosystem and its role in Europe’s sustainability and decarbonization efforts.
