Villa Äng is scheduled to open in December 2025 and will feature a 400 m² villa with five suites, a lounge, sauna, and outdoor bath. During its first year, the property is expected to achieve an occupancy rate of 30–40%, with clear potential for long-term growth. Behind the initiative is the family who also founded the internationally recognized Treehotel, bringing valuable expertise and extensive experience in developing unique hospitality concepts.

Britta Jonsson-Lindvall, one of the founders and owners, comments on the project:

“This investment primarily means that we can contribute an additional accommodation option to complement the existing offerings in Harads. Being part of developing our destination feels both important and exciting – especially since our daughter has chosen to engage in the tourism industry.

Villa Äng aims to offer exclusive lodging with service and hospitality where every detail is carefully tailored for discerning high-end guests. This represents a somewhat new customer segment for Swedish Lapland, meeting a demand that has been present for years. For the first year, we expect an occupancy rate of 30–40%. We are also proud of the excellent cooperation with Boden Municipality and other community stakeholders, who have provided swift and valuable assistance in everything from land issues to energy and infrastructure.”
